Arneis Wu (Xiaobin Wu) is currently the Head sommelier at Joel Robuchon china Group, Which includes a Michelin two-star restaurant-L’ATELIER de Joel Robuchon in Shanghai. He got the Advanced Sommelier by Court of Master Sommelier in 2017. He is the champion of the 9th China National Sommelier Competition and the “Best Sommelier in China” awarded by the Australian Wine Bureau. Their wine list had won the best wine list in mainland and the best sommelier awards 2018 by China wine list awards.
Arneis graduated from Shandong Agricultural University with a major in Vin and Wine Engineering, he is passionate about wine and is determined to be a Master Sommelier.

The China Wine Competition boasts of having the most highly qualified and trained panel of wine buyers and wine experts who are based in mainland China.
As the mission and philosophy of the China Wine Competition is to award wines by quality, value and package for the China market, all our judges are from mainland China who understands the Chinese palate.
The goal, quite simply, is to gain cross-industry recognition for wines that Chinese consumers actually want to drink.
