Kollaras & Co. was founded in 1960 by the late John Kollaras - an immigrant from Greece. John purchased a small fruit shop in Wollongong. John’s sons, Tass and Michael Kollaras, after completing their studies in the 1970s, joined the business.

In the 1980's - John, Tass & Michael Kollaras focused on the international expansion of the business.

The 1990s was a time when Kollaras & Co continued to expand, via the purchase of Tosti Cellars liquor stores. The business extended its interests to property and other significant investments. Now a leading and globally recognized beverage and tobacco distributor with a unique multi-channel offering, Kollaras & Co continues to grow with its team of professionals, and world-class range of brands.

The future of Kollaras & Co. is focused on developing and expanding their brand portfolio, their investment in technology, their people and complementary product offerings.

To evaluate the entrants, the China Wine Competition invites a leading panel of top-level wine industry experts where wines are judged on the three parameters of Quality, Value, and Packaging.

The China Wine Competition, organized by the Beverage Trade Network, a leading platform that connects the alcohol beverage world - is the leading wine competition in China that looks to recognize, reward, and help promote beer brands that have successfully been created to identify and target a specific wine drinker.
