2018 John Hastings Cellar Reserve Shiraz by Fox Gordon won ‘Gold,’ Best In Show By Country,’ ‘Best In Show By Varietal,’ & ‘Best Wine By Quality’ at the 2020 China Wine Competition. This wine has lots of depth and balance here. Full-bodied with notes of sweet cherry and sweet spices.

Rieslaner Beerenauslese Vdp.Ortswein

2018 Rieslaner Beerenauslese Vdp.Ortswein by Weingut Karl Schaefer GmbH & Co. KG won ‘Gold,’ & ‘Best In Show By Country’ at the 2020 China Wine Competition. 2018 Rieslaner Beerenauslese Vdp.Ortswein is draped with Sweet mango notes followed by dried apricot and peach. It has orange marmalade on the finish with sweet spices on the palate.

Gigino Toscana Rosso IGT

2015 Gigino Toscana Rosso IGT by BARBANERA S.r.l. Won ‘Gold,’ & ‘Best In Show By Country’ at the 2020 China Wine Competition. 2015 Gigino Toscana Rosso IGT is loaded with Black chocolate, cinnamon, and ripe black fruit, and licorice. Flavors of cocoa and black fruits. Overall really ripe and rich.

Charles VII Blanc de Blancs

Charles VII Blanc de Blancs by Champagne Canard-Duchêne won ‘Gold,’ & ‘Best In Show By Country' at the 2020 China Wine Competition.

Charles VII Blanc de Blancs is filled with brioche and toasted hazelnuts on the nose. The palate is rich and nutty. Flavors of bread and lemon zest. Bright and complex. Incredibly balanced and bright blanc de Blancs champagne.

The 2025 China Wine Competition is set to happen in Hong Kong in October 2025. Submission now open for International and China wineries.
